We develop competitive estimates based on your specifications that consider the entirety of your project from initial imaging and engineering, to crating, delivery and installation manuals. Upon reaching an agreement, we execute the established fabrication strategy in a workmanlike manner to meet your deadline. A collaborative dialogue is undertaken in the initial planning stages to ensure our mutual understanding of the intentions and specifications for your project. Drawings, Renderings, Prototypes, Samples, Mockups and Models can be prepared as needed for your approval. Scheduled studio visits are highly encouraged throughout the fabrication process. Services include carpentry from rough framing to fine wood working, CNC cutting, water jet cutting, vacuforming, mold making and casting from resin to aluminum and bronze, welding from decorative to animatronics, and foam, clay, and wax sculpting. We do architectural build outs ranging from permanent outdoor structures and museum installations to modular temporary rooms. Available finishes include paint from scenic to automotive, metal anodizing, and upholstery. Barnacle Bros. also has extensive experience with miniatures, puppets, and specialty props including motorized and electronic. We work with exceptional suppliers and production facilities across Southern California to acquire quality materials and stellar results. Recycled and repurposed supplies are also available upon request. Informed by top of the line vendors, industry veterans and community associates, we build to meet all needs. Reusable, custom crates, skids and packing materials are constructed to support the domestic and international shipping services we provide. Internal suspension systems, pallets, rigging and handles are included as needed to guarantee your project arrives safe and sound. Crates are built from heat-treated wood to protect against insect damage and ensure that International shipping standards are met and customs protocol efficiently expedited. Onsite assistance during installation is available. We, and our signature style crates have traveled the world to realize great works. Skilled in conservation practices and fine art restoration, we can rescue and complete damaged projects. We offer maintenance services as well, and in the unlikely event that you need a repair, we are on hand to remedy it immediately.
